This shows that every country has their own share of problems...

China may be rising economically, but at the same time, they're losing parts of their humanity as morality is on a downward spiral. There are "denial of assistance" cases everywhere, but when faced with a situation this severe, and your initial reaction is to first "rationally" consider the possible consequences that can occur rather than how you can save a helpless baby, then you need to question the society that conditioned you.
